As usual, we will be running two summer camps this year - a novice camp and an experienced camp.
Dates and prices will be posted closer to the summer.
 
 
 
Enjoy camp on one of our riding school horses or bring your own horse/pony.
 
The camps include the following:-
 
1-2 hours riding per day in the form of instruction, hacking and fun events.
Mornings are taken up with instruction and afternoons with activities such as hacks, games and paper chases.
Swimming - at a local pool, that is always supervised by lifeguards and members of our staff.
Fun events in the evening - games, quizzes, informative talks/videos etc.
Stable management lectures and lessons.
A day trip to a local equestrian facility.
A show on the last day.
Tea and cakes for parents and children with awards given at the end of the camp.
 
The children will learn to look after their own horse from the first feed of the day to the time they are put to bed, plus lots of fun events in between.
 
Riders will be split into groups of similar abilities with an experienced group at Novice Camp who will be jumping etc. If you are unsure as to which camp would suit you/your child, please ask a member of staff (preferably someone who has taught you recently). As a general rule in order to ride at an experienced camp you should have previous experience of jumping, be confident to ride at a canter/gallop in a group and whilst hacking out.
 
If you would like to participate in either camp please ask a member of staff. If you have already registered, please ask a member of staff for confirmation.
